The aim of this course is to increase your knowledge and raise awareness of ‘good practice’ in relation to clinical record keeping.

Training Objectives

  • Understand the importance of good record keeping

  • Recognise information that must be recorded within the patients record
  • Recognise when the use of automatic templates can question the accuracy of clinical records
  • Understand how long records should be retained for how they be destroyed
