Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic which is sometimes used in the dental practice to help manage and treat postoperative bacterial infections, particularly endodontic infections. Its more common use outside of this is for treating infections in the respiratory and urinary tract. These tablets are a 500mg dose of Ciprofloxacin, twice the dosage of 250mg tablets.

Ciprofloxacin 500 mg should not be administered to:
Pregnant or breastfeeding women
Individuals over 60 years of age
Patients with brain or nervous system disorders
Individuals who have undergone organ transplants
Those currently taking corticosteroids
