Preferred analgesic for many dental procedures, the Septanest 4% Articane 1:200,000 is used to induce local or loco-regional dental anaesthesia in patients aged 4 and over. Septanest has a fast onset time of 1-9 minutes, and contains no methylparaben or latex, making it safer for patients with allergies to either substance. Septanest 1:200,000 has a very predictable duration, up to 60 minutes for infiltration and 120 minutes for nerve blocks.
