Firstly, the needle bevel has been ground so as to provide 'three bevel precision', Microlance also then uses a targeted needle surface polishing process, and a needle lubrication process so as to reduce resistance when inserting/withdrawing this needle..
Thin-wall needles have slimmer material making up their tube, meaning that the needle may be sharper. This makes it easier to puncture, but also more prone to flexing.
