Sterilised, single-packed and single-use, these needles are excellent for administering local anaesthetic, an important part in any modern dental practice. Coming in a box of 100 needles, and measuring 23G x 1" (25mm), these needles are colour-coded, as are the rest of the BD Microlance needle range, so that a dentist can immediately tell each needle apart, rather than estimating based on size. This box of needles is coded ‘blue’. Compatible with standard Luer or Luer-Lok disposable syringes, and latex-free, these syringes are “Thin wall” which helps with puncturing.
This is where the cannula has an increased diameter by decreasing the thickness of the syringe’s walls. This allows for precise injections and easy puncturing, while slightly increasing the risk of flexing.
Microlance needles are lubricated, polished, and have a ground bevel, making them extra sharp.
