Colourless, odourless, and vital to any practice. Water is used in diluting and reconstituting medicines such as Glucagon for parenteral use. This order includes a box of ten 2ml Ampoules of water for injection. These ampoules should not be stored at above 25 degrees centigrade. Water, when used as a vehicle for delivering other drugs, is normally well-tolerated but water should not be injected by itself, as this can cause haemolysis.
Side effects will likely depend on the additive used. If used as instructed, no side effects should be caused by using water as a diultant. This is not a complete list. Always refer to the product information leaflet for more details.
