SDI prepared the following instructions for the cementation of a crown:
- Isolate and prepare the tooth core.
- Wash internal surface of restoration.
- Thoroughly dry restoration.
- Mix the capsule in an amalgamator or mix the powder/liquid combination on a mixing pad.
- Apply approximately 1mm of cement to the bonding surface.
- Seat restoration within 30 seconds.
- Remove excess cement at the first formation of the gel stage.
- Maintain isolation until the set is verified.
