A pack of ten Prima Round carbide burs. These are often used in the preparation of conservative single-surface cavities. They may also be used for interproximal cavities in anterior teeth (class III). Additional applications include gaining root canal access both anteriorly and posteriorly. These burs are sturdy, having been made for general dental use, with the strength and power to cut through crowns, but the finesse required to work with porcelain without shattering it.
Prima dental braze their carbide burs at the base of the neck to ensure maximum strength.
The stainless steel shank allows multiple autoclaves without the risk of corrosion.
