An essential component for your autoclave, filtering the air entering your chamber when cycling equipment or tools for decontamination. This ensures the air does not become re-contaminated. Found behind the service door, this filter is easily replaced, and should be changed every four hundred cycles, or every three months, whichever comes sooner.
Please ensure you have undertaken all health & safety and cross-contamination procedures before you change your autoclave's bacteriological filter. Anything less than this may risk contaminating the filter.
If your filter is heavily discoloured, especially with dust, it should be replaced immediately.
