An autoclavable bib holder, consisting of a metal chain, with two crocodile clips for fastening to bibs. This chain will help to keep bibs securely attached to patients and in-place, without restricting their movement or causing a strangulation hazard, as the clips detach easily enough to ensure patient safety. These clips and chains are autoclavable, and can be cleaned so long as all debris has been removed from them before cleaning.
Bib holders can cause cross-contamination, and so should be cleaned between uses.
Reusable bib holders cause less environmental waste, and are generally tougher.
