Reusable Visor Frame and twelve disposable face visors to protect the eyes and face. The frame is blue, autoclavable, and has been verified by opticians to be secure and comfortable, weighing only at 9 mgs, with foldable arms and no metal hinges. The disposable visors are anti-fog and scratch resistant, are shaped for improved ventilation, fit, and coverage.
This helps to ensure that the face shields remain clear and transparent.
As per HTM 01-05 guidelines, visors may be reusable in line with manufacturers’ instructions. If they are being re-used, then they need to be appropriately cleaned when visibly dirty and also cleaned in between patients as part of universal cross infection control protocols. Visor shields should be replaced if damaged or scratched.
