A cleaning solution specially formulated for the decontamination of dental instruments and handpieces. This solution minimises the risk of iatrogenic transmission of CJD/ vCJD (in accordance with RKI notification), and provides excellent material compatibility, even being suitable for aluminium. Demonstrating very good cleansing power and good wetting properties due to the addition of surfactants, this cleaning solution lasts approximately 166 cycles.

After cleaning, it is recommended to rinse using thermodent® neutralizer to prevent the entrainment of alkali residues. Use concentration: thermodent® alka clean can be used in the following concentrations: Standard recommendation: 0.5 % (5 ml/l). Depending on level of soiling: 0.3 - 1 % (3 - 10 ml/l) may be used.
Thermodent Alka Clean is recommended for the treatment of dental instruments, MIC instruments, containers, trays, handpieces and angle pieces.
