Each pouch printed with a lot number for full manufacturing traceability.
CE marked and meet the requirements of HTM 01-05, BS EN 868-5 and ISO 11607-1.
The Steam Autoclave process indicators printed on UnoDent Sterilisation Pouches operate on chemical changes occurring when the indicator is subjected to both heat and moisture. The colour change is normally from a light pink to a medium/dark brown. The indicator colour may vary in intensity depending on the amount of ink printed. This variation is a natural part of the printing process. A correctly processed indicator will show a noticeable change.
It must be noted that the indicator changes colour when exposed to the elements of the sterilisation cycle; the colour change does not indicate that the contents of the package are sterile, nor does any slight variation in colour change reflect on the efficiency of the sterilisation process.
