The Piezomed module Plus II is compatible with all three new versions of the Implantmed Plus II. No Piezomed Classic module will be available.

The new Piezomed module Plus II is simply connected to the device via a sliding mechanism, no cables and additional power supply are required.

Controls remain intuitive via the foot control or the touchscreen, which is now enhanced for faster access and greater clarity, improving everyday use.

With the Piezomed module Plus II the device combines a surgical motor and piezo surgery in one device. This covers a wide range of surgical applications whilst offering powerful performance, automatic instrument detection and integrated light.

The new module already includes all the latest software enhancements from the current version.

The Piezomed handpiece connection remains unchanged, meaning that the existing SA-40 (Ref: 30408000) and SA-40 L (Ref: 30392000) handpieces can be used with the new Piezomed module Plus II.

For customers who require a 3.5-meter cable variant for the handpiece, particularly those operating in clinical or hospital environments, the Amadeo system and its corresponding Piezomed Pro module should be offered in the future.

The W&H portfolio of Piezomed instruments remains unchanged and is compatible with the handpiece and the new module.
