Manual Handling & Dental Ergonomics

Training Aim

To improve knowledge and raise awareness of the risks related to manual handling and how the implementation of appropriate control measures can reduce the risk of injury.

Training Objectives

• Understand the risks and hazards associated with manual handling
• Recognise the legal responsibilities of employers and employees
• Aware of how to evaluate risks to enable the implementation of appropriate control measures to prevent or reduce the risk of injury and damage
• Able to identify ergonomic issues within the dental practice setting
