Technicians

All our technicians have undergone an intensive training programme in all aspects of handpiece repairs, including theoretical and practical training, competency testing and continued education.

Warranty

All repairs come with a 3 to 12 months warranty, dependent on the repair service chosen. If your handpiece fails whilst under warranty, just send it back together with your original invoice for repair. All handpieces will be dispatched lubricated and in pouches ready for surgery use.

Accreditation

All technicians have taken part in training with original equipment manufacturers, such as W&H, Anthogyr, NSK, Bien Air, Kavo and Sirona as part of the DD ‘Repair Accreditation.’ As a customer you will be able to speak personally with the technician undertaking your repair when you are quoted. 

Certified Parts & Inspection

Trained technicians ensure the quality of your handpiece repair by individually inspecting, testing and certifying all replacement parts. No used or uncertified parts are ever installed.

Please provide all details form your practice including names, address, phone number and email address . All information from the equipment being sent in for repair Including Make , Model, Serial number and also the best description of the fault you are finding.

We work on a 24 hour turnaround for turbines and 48 hours for everything else once the quotation has been Accepted unless we need to order specific parts that we don’t hold in stock

All you have to do is call the office and we can arrange a collection for a small fee on 01253 600090.

We provide a free quotation all on repairs but the prices may vary according to the parts required in terms of device, manufacturer and customer specific needs.

FAQ1.png  What happens once I have sent my handpiece in for repair?

Usually once your equipment arrives our administration team will book the work in for our technicians to then carry out a full assessment and provide a quotation on what parts are required and we will then get in touch for your approval before going ahead with any repairs.

Phone us!

Customer calls us on 01253 600090 to request packs. Packs are normally received the next day, including work order sheets to be completed by the customer.

The customer should keep the carbon copy of the work order for their records and then post the envelope back to us (Our envelopes are Freepost 1st Class but we recommended sending the equipment signed for to ensure they have insurance).

We repair!

Once we receive the handpiece(s) we will assess them (we offer a free quotation service) and give the customer a call or email with the quotation.

Once we have received acceptance from the quotation we will get the handpiece repaired and returned to the customer.

We return your repaired product!

For fast handpieces this is a 24 hour turn around unless we need to order parts.

The customer will receive the invoice from DD a day or 2 after receiving their handpiece back.
